If there is one thing in this world that you can almost always count on no matter what, it is that man and his dog will always be loyal buddies to one and other. It is a tale that has been told for thousands of years, and it looks like it is going nowhere fast.

Which is what got us all excited when we came across this collection of photos from a British solider in the Royal Air Force. Somehow, he had someone document his time-serving overseas with his trusty canine pal and had the experience cemented in history for ever more. So join us on this journey to more than 70 years ago, for a story that exists all throughout time, a man and his dog, doing the best they can, standing firmly by each other's side, living their life.

It is hard staying focused on your job at all times, as exemplified here by the doggo who is supposed to be on duty getting wildly distracted by what was likely a rodent running behind him. But who can blame him, the meeting going on looks really boring.
